Here is a picture of the 2.25lb. Crappie Barry Morrow caught on lake Eufaula.

You can kind of see the setup we were using, but its just 6lb mono, with a couple of loop knots about a foot apart for the two jigs.  We were just keeping our lures between 9 and 11 feet and slow trolling over the top of brush piles.  We probably caught about 20 fish, most were around or over one lb.


Here is a picture of a monster white bass that I DID NOT catch, Bobby Murray actually caught the fish and didnt want to be in the picture so I grabbed the fish and he took the picture. 

I guess they dont eat them after their first spawn because the fish get real oily and get very fishy tasting... so I didnt end up keeping any.

I also caught a yellow bass aka bar bass, and they are pretty cool because when you touch them they stick all their fins straight out and flex to become super rigid.

Heard a bunch of cool stories about the gators and cottonmouth/watermoccasins on this lake.

Bobby Murray... Him and his brother are legends in bass fishing down in this part of the world and they have done more fishing than anyone I have ever met.  They are the masterminds behind quite a few of the Lindy creations. 



The sun peeking out between the clouds on the headwaters of the Little River.  I should have taken a picture but I wont ever forget seeing the beware of Alligators sign at the landing.

My first published photo... never thought I'd say those words

Check this out, I took that picture this morning in the Arkansas River! It shipped out today to be printed and will then go out later on next week to stores across the country.... weird huh.

You cant tell from the picture, but the bobber is actually in about 3in. of water. Im taking the picture from a shale ledge on the edge of the river, and i had to put a bottle opener from my keychain on the lure so that it wouldnt spin, and I would be able to get the logo.

This is a screen shot of the photo that I did, Everything else isnt that interesting, but I just think its so cool that I get to just do so many different things.  I am learning a lot about every different aspect of the buisness; web design, photo editing, marketing, sales,... I have my hands on everything from creating and designing new lures, testing prototypes, naming new lures, and obviously promoting the existing ones. 

Its crazy to think that I havent even gotten to the "fun part" of the job yet and I already love it!

Fishing and exploring south of Oliver, AR

Yesterday I went to go check out some "great crappie spots", check out the pics.. notice there arent any fish in any...

The first choice in ponds was supposedly the best, but sadly was blocked of.  Someone dug out a ditch and built up dirt on the otherside to keep people from driving the road.... so i continued down the road to these other spots.

awesome scenery.

too early, but it was a really cool trip.  Pretty spooky area when you start thinking about the critters that call this part of the world home; mountain lions, black bears, timber rattle snakes.
